To check our rates, simply enter the origin, destination, and travel dates on our homepage and click on “Calculate Price.”
Do prices vary depending on the number of passengers?
No, prices are fixed per vehicle type, regardless of the number of passengers (up to the vehicle’s capacity).
What types of vehicles are available?
We offer 4-seater cars and 7-seater vans. The driver does not occupy a passenger seat.
What if we are a group of more than 7 people?
If your group exceeds 7 passengers, please contact us and we will find a personalized solution for you.
Do you provide child or baby seats?
Yes, we provide one child seat or booster per vehicle free of charge, subject to availability and prior request.
- Additional seats or boosters are available for a fee of £15 each.
- Please indicate your request when booking in the “Comments” section.
- Note: Children occupy a seat like any adult and must be included in the total passenger count.
Is there a luggage limit?
Luggage is limited to the trunk size of the vehicle.
During the booking process, you can check the luggage capacity for each vehicle.
If you have doubts, contact us to confirm.
How far in advance should I book?
Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. However, we recommend booking as soon as you know your travel dates to ensure availability.
What pickup time should I indicate?
- For airport pickups, indicate the scheduled landing time of your flight.
- For hotel or private address pickups, indicate the exact time you want the driver to arrive.
What time should I book my pickup to the airport?
We strongly recommend booking pickup at least FOUR HOURS before flight check-in closes, especially during peak hours or if traveling to Southend Airport.
What happens if my flight is delayed or arrives early? Do I need to notify you?
- You don’t need to notify us.
- We monitor flights using the flight number provided during booking.
- For early arrivals, pickup is adjusted based on the original scheduled time.
- For delays, drivers adjust their arrival accordingly.
How long will the driver wait at the airport?
- One hour of free waiting time from the scheduled landing time.
- After this period, an extra charge of 25% of the total service price per additional hour will apply.
How will we identify the driver?
- At the airport, the driver will wait in the arrivals area with a sign showing the name of the person who booked.
- At hotels or private addresses, the driver will wait at the door or in the lobby, if safe to park.
- You will receive an email one day before your trip with the driver’s name and phone number for direct contact if needed.
Is there a contact number in case of problems?
Yes. You will receive emergency phone numbers in your booking confirmation email.
How do I pay for the reservation?
- Full payment is required at the time of booking through our secure online payment system (Stripe).
- Cards only. Drivers do not accept cash or card payments on-site.
- All payments must be in British Pounds (£ GBP).
Do you issue invoices?
Yes. You will receive a tax invoice attached to your confirmation email.
Do prices vary depending on time, distance, or traffic?
No. Our prices are fixed and all-inclusive for any address within London.
- No extra fees for time, traffic, or mileage.
- Charges apply only for extra waiting time or intermediate stops.
Can I request intermediate stops?
Yes.
- You can add stops during booking by clicking “+ Extra Stop / + Via”.
- Additional charges apply, starting from £30, and must be paid before the trip begins.
Can I modify or cancel my booking?
Yes.
- Free modifications and cancellations up to 48 hours before the service by contacting us at info@uvacars.com or via WhatsApp
- Please provide the booking number and email used for the reservation.
- For late cancellations:
- More than 48 hours: 100% refund.
- 48 to 24 hours: 50% refund.
- 24 to 12 hours: 20% refund as a gift card.
- Less than 12 hours: No refund.
- Refunds are processed 15 days after service date and may take up to 10 business days via Stripe.
What if I’m late for pickup?
- For hotel/home pickups:
- First 10 minutes free.
- After that, £30 late fee.
- After 30 minutes, the booking is automatically canceled.
- For airport pickups:
- 1 hour free from landing time.
- After that, 25% of total service per extra hour.
Do you guarantee timely arrival for flights?
